-My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy the accommodations provided by Julie and Glen and couldn't have been happier. The home was exactly as we envisioned it from the photos online. They were more than happy to accommodate our late evening arrival after a day of cheering on the Fighting Irish! … read moreThe food was AMAZING! We will definitely be back...as for the two cousins that came with us, it was a new experience for them, but they definitely have a different opinion of using a bed and breakfast as a place to stay when traveling. Thank you for a comfortable, homey stay. Wende, Jeff, Chuck and Matt
-Staying at the Country Flair B & B was a great experience! We were treated like family from the first introductions. We enjoyed the lovely lower level suite, which was spacious, comfortable and perfect for a group of ladies! The food was fantastic and Mr. and Mrs. Hostetler, and their grandson, Tanner made us feel so welcomed and cared for every
way. We can't wait to return soon.
- My college roommates and I spent a reunion weekend with Julie and Glen at their darling Country Flair Bed and Breakfast. Not only was Julie exceedingly accommodating of our late arrivals into town due to travel schedules, but Glen stayed up to greet us. We walked downstairs to the spacious and impeccably clean Old World Modern Suite, which also contains a King Suite, to find delicious caramel apple cake waiting for us courtesy of Julie. Aside from the comforts of the place, we really loved the personal interaction with other guests and the home owners. Each morning of our two-day stay, we sat around the dining table with other guests, sharing a meal and conversations. The hospitality of the place allows guests to fully relax and enjoy themselves. Beautiful place, beautiful people all in a wonderful location. Thanks so much, Julie and Glen. We'll be back!
- My wife , grand daughter (8) and I stayed for 4 days and we could not have been more pleased with our choice of B&B`s. This is from now on the only place to stay when we visit Shipshewana and surrounding area. The stay was terrific and what you get for your money words cannot describe it.The owner is a fabulous cook and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. You get to use their swimming pool and fishing pond and the rooms are just great. We had the king room for the 3 of us and it is the full basement which might not seem so inviting but you have to see it to believe it there is so much space you do not feel that you are where you are.Our grand daughter had a king bed and she looked lost in it but she loved every minute of her stay.Shipshewana is about 40 minutes away and it will take all day to get around also you have to pay for parking $3.00. The photos on the web site are exactly as shown. We intend to return in September for my wife's birthday and possibly bring my 91 year old mother to experience it.
- - My friend and I stayed at this b&b while visiting Shipshewana. The photos accurately show the beautiful rooms and grounds. Julie's adorable grandson showed us around and got us settled before we got some pizza from the local place in Wakarusa and a delicious dessert of strawberry shortcake from Julie. Breakfast the next morning was also yummy! Would definitely stay here again or recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a great price!
- - Our group rented all 3 rooms at this B&B for a weekend in June. We were happy to note the thoughtful attention to detail in decor, toiletries we may have forgotten and a variety of drinks/snacks. We were even served a delicious dessert at 8pm nightly. We also enjoyed the in-ground pool. Glen and Julie were friendly and welcoming.
-It doesn't get better than this! The rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious
and the owners very warm and friendly. I plan on returning again and again and
highly recommend to everyone!
- My husband, daughter and I traveled to Wakarusa for our fall break trip
and it was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast. We absolutely enjoyed
our stay! The house is stunning, the breakfast and nightly desserts add an
extra special touch! Julie and Glen are so sweet and welcoming! You will not go wrong if you stay here!
-The suite was decorted with impeccable taste. I felt like I was in a high end
suite at one of the top hotels in a major city. This was the most peaceful and
rested vacation me and my sister have been on in a long while. The breakfast
was elegantly presented, and the taste was out of this world. Julie went out of her way to make us feel as if we were part of her family. After breakfast we rebooked for two times next year, once in June & July, so we can enjoy the beautiful in ground pool. I would recommend the Old World Suite for anyone looking for a private getaway retreat, with private kitchen bath and two bedrooms. The entire house was beautifully decorted. Once you meet Julie you have made a friend for life.
